Say Aloe-ha to Salts Healthcare’s ‘Best Stand Ever’

Ask any of the 500 Stoma Care Nurses what they remember about this year’s ASCN exhibition and most of them will give the same resounding response: Salts Healthcare’s Hawaiian-themed Tiki Bar!

Each year, the Association of Stoma Care Nurses (ASCN) invites ostomy manufacturers and DACS (Dispensing Appliance Contractors) to exhibit at their annual conference.

It’s the usual affair, with the same messages and predictable stands. Unless you’re Salts Healthcare! As a longstanding client, they trust us to make their exhibition bigger and better every year. And, once again, we didn’t disappoint.

Salts’ popular Confidence® Natural range had been given a fresh, new look and they were keen to launch this and communicate its core benefits: the inclusion of Aloe Vera and its unique, five-sided Flexifit® wafer.

The solution was the “Aloe-ha” Tiki Bar – a huge, show-stopping beach hut that transformed a dull, lifeless space into an exciting and interactive presentation of their products.

With Hawaiian music setting the scene, members of the Salts team, dressed in ‘Aloe-ha’ branded T-shirts and flower garlands, served tropical ‘Salts on the Beach’ mocktails from a specially designed bar, and gave out tote bags full of goodies, garlands and “Tiki head” drink cups to nurses.

The whole event was a runaway success and we were delighted to receive such excellent feedback from our clients. Salts’ Product Manager, Abbie Chapman, said, “A huge thank you to you and the rest of the team for all your hard work with our ASCN stand this year. It looked absolutely fantastic and was a brilliant success – once again, the Salts stand was the talk of the conference!”

She added, “We received wonderful feedback and positive comments from our own team, the nurses, the competitors and other stand builders and staff at the conference centre. It was quite rightly described as the ‘best stand ever’ – and we owe a great deal of the praise to you guys!”

We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and feel grateful to work with clients like Salts, who are so open to creative ideas. What will we do next year?
